We experience simultaneous growth in population, urbanization, and motorization. As rural areas become less appealing to an increasingly younger population in search of education and jobs, the pressure on existing road networks mounts by the dayA part from the time consumed on roads, precious lives are also lost, and according to a report Pakistan has one of the highest accident rates in the world. Every year nearly 25,000 people die in Road Accidents, Thousands other are seriously injured and many are disabling for life. Current figures are alarming enough, even more alarming are the trends and attitudes, if they continue, the number of people killed and injured on our Roads will be grown double in coming years and thus will become burden of cost to family , society, business and government.

When it comes to road injuries, economic common-sense and ethical imperative both point in the same direction. Whether you’re starting point is economic growth, poverty reduction, social justice or human rights, there is no case for turning a blind eye to the endless toll of dead bodies and broken limbs.

While traffic safety is now on the Global Agenda, there are many businesses that are exploring how they can improve their contribution to safe traffic or make sure that their own people are safe. Managing the safety of traffic is generated by learning Traffic Signs. This is a very positive process that businesses can benefit from.

The new thinking in Driver Behavior is to educate drivers to be safe for life means a shift in focus from simply developing vehicle-handling skills towards ensuring that drivers are aware of how goals and motivations can influence decision-making throughout their driving career.

A major focus is to consider how driver training needs to be adapted in order to raise awareness of how human factors contribute to unsafe driving behavior. From this it goes onto promote the development of driver education that considers all the skills that are essential for Road Safety.
